Rec of doom
So, I know everyone is already neck deep in hols, and so am I (I've read so few >.<), BUT! But but but but THIS!!!
Title: Intoxicate the Sun (link goes to the first chapter)

Summary: Harry starts a revolution. A revolution with spies, disaffected Aurors, dragons, Azkaban escapees, joke shop owners turned war strategists, and magical theories. And Draco Malfoy is one of the spies--deciding whether he should betray Potter for the sake of his parents, or the other way around.
Author's Notes: This will be a long story, and at this point I don't know how many chapters it's likely to cover. A lot of the chapters include politics and philosophy as well as action, so be warned.
So, I KNOW a lot of people don't read WiPs because of the "what if it gets abandoned?" or "I'll have to wait SO LONG for updates!" issues. But, I do believe lomonaaeren just might be the most trustworthy author in H/D fandom when it comes to WiPs. No matter how long. She updates practically on a schedule and OFTEN. Once-or-twice-a-week often!
So, knowing lomonaaeren's long!fic, and I know them quite well, simply based from the two chapters she's posted so far, THIS IS GOING TO BE THE MOST EPIC RIDE AND ADVENTURE EVER!!! Or at least fucking close to ever!!!
My arguments, let me list them:
- a powerful, strong willed, darkish (in the most delicious way!), determined, IC (imo), leader! and wildmagic!Harry
- A brilliant, smart, clever, BRILLIANT Hermione ♥
- GEORGE!
- The entire SUMMARY!
- Action from the beginning in the most awesome way!
- REVOLUTION!
- I swallow the chapters - it's amazingly written.
- It's only at about 8k right now, and this is a ride you want to jump on RIGHT NOW!
YOU GUYS I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS FIC!
I'm pretty sure it's both going to drive me mad and keep me sane.
