I appreciate you taking the time to read and comment on this post. I also appreciate that someone does hold some moral value still in this world. I find that there are many that are not "Christian" but still hold Christian values or at least have part of the same moral compass. I am also glad that you are not one of the many people that would be put off by my enpassioned tone of writing. Thank you.
Glad that something still offends someone though (I find if nothing offends you, then you're really out of luck at finding some shred of morality). I never mentioned the government's role in such thing (that is a different topic all together) but I guess we both agree that it is a moral and ethical issue. Yes, it, like all ethical issues, should be dealt with, but just because a law is passed it won't stop people from dissobedience to that law. Countless examples.
I hope you find the light and path you are searching for in terms of religion (or rather that one may find you) and I'd be more than happy to discuss, in any part, religion and philosophy if that would help shed some light and maybe help you in your search. (the least I can do for someone willing to take up my time :P )

Though you may not be a Christian, I hope you won't mind if I pray for you. That you find what your searching for, and that you may be blessed for holding a moral standard higher than the world you live in.
