Just spent a day with Darlene's family in Columbus. Maddie is 2. Sweetness and spine, a dear little girl. They will be in Florida next week os Santa came to their house last night and we had a great early Christmas this morning. The great spirit obliged with a snow storm and everything felt snowy with the lighted tree silhouetted against the forrest trees and swirling white fury. I miss my little family, but am comforted to know that they have many of these moments to remember as the magic days advance. My advice, find a family with little ones and if you have occasion, find them at home and share with them these joys of human tenderness and generosity.
