winters blast
Today has been cold and windy. The deciduous trees are now bare with the exception of a few mostly solitary leaves hanging on. It's been gray, too. Lots of gray. The first instability of slick roads in the pre dawn too, caught drivers in mid breath and there was evidence of minor uncontrolled events in the tracks of both accelerating and decelerating motorists. I like that tiny rush of the unsuspected.
