Did Anyone Say Update?
Christmas is on the fast approach. We got all the shopping done the first week of December. Of course, I can't leave it where it's at and I had to buy five more items to add. Two are for all three and then one extra each. I'm still wrapping. Mailed off Grama gifts and have to get out the gift cards to Red Lobster (her fave restaurant) tomorrow. Need to mail out my sister's two boxes from the popcorn sale along with some photos and presents for her cat and dog (her kids). Also need to mail out the box for Tommi's best friend who lives in Virginia.
Evan was able to take the Linguistics exam. We still don't know what job he's signed up for...he went back up to Louisville today for that. He had a slight cold the first time so he had to get a doctor's exam clearing him of any infectious diseases and had to wait an extra week for the final paperwork and swearing-in ceremony. Now we find out that his security clearance references have to have home addresses/phone numbers and just work won't do. I'm afraid it's in the recruiter's hands now as I don't have any of the paperwork and I wouldn't tell ME this stuff without official prodding.
