(no subject)
so much snow!
i spent the weekend at my mom's house skiing, reading, listening to sad bastard music (mmmmm...i love sad bastard music, even when it doesnt have a context), and shoveling. i had not had to shovel since, well, i dont remember the last time, but what an undertaking. i woke up this morning feeling like i needed a shot of geritol and a hot pack.
my long run yesterday was more like running hurdles or better yet, the steeplechase. even though minneapolis has done a great job of clearing the roads, every intersection was marked by 3 foot tall snow drifts with a disgusting moat on the otherside of it. it made for a fun but treacherous 59 minutes.
sledding is on the menu tonight for anyone interested. powderhorn park represent.
