cheap date.
some rather major things have been happening in my life as of late, and with a dwindling number of close friends still living in the area, it has made these times a bit harder. but out of the goodness of his heart, my friend colt has invited me over for fajitas and beers this evening.
i am currently sitting on his couch, 1.5 homebrews down and i am feeling it. what the hell, when did i become such a light weight? granted i was never a drinking champ by any means, i used to be able to hold my own in college. but lately i have been winding up with a raging headache after a 2 beer evening. where have the days of yore gone? when i used to be able to keep up with my friends until we started playing "drink until i stop drinking?"
hmmm...i suppose this was the major reason for making the movie old school, has-been drunks grasping at something that was a way of life but is now only a fleeting memory.
