On wireless connectivity
I had a cool thing happen. I'm going to Naperville this weekend (hopefully for the last time) for the movers. I will be taking my trusty iBook, and I'd like to be able to access the net. No phone at the house, and no other means of connecting. I do, however, have a GPRS/Bluetooth phone. Voila! It was so amazingly simple that I can barely believe it. All I had to do was to set up the Bluetooth link, tell it to use the cell phone as dialup modem, give it T-Mobile's *99# for the number, ansd BINGO - I was online. Too too cool!
