I am coming right out and saying this: Pepper and Jane annoy me in fanfics, Jane more than Pepper. Is she really like the way I am reading her, good at her job but when it comes to anything with Thor or relationships in general, she’s weak, ugh…I don’t know how to explain it, she seems like an idiot. Pepper…Pepper is one person I can’t, just can’t see loving Tony as a lover. She seems to…into herself, I guess.
Not to say I haven’t read good fanfics, blackrose_17 on AO3 writes Jane and Pepper good but I also have read fanfics that so make me want to punch the two of them, Jane really.
Also what the fuck is with saying Darcy tasered Thor in every fanfic I read? Yes, she tasered him, give her something else than just tasering everyone, please! It is annoying and really? She’s working for a smart lady (i don’t know what Jane does sorry) and she just seems as if she is smarter than people make her out to be. She isn’t just a fan/yaoi girl you know…Darcy is better than that. All the women are.
The only one I can say people seem to get correct all the time is Natasha, Maria is barely written in fanfics (I need to read more about her, I adore her) but when she is she’s with Natasha. A bad ass…not to say that doesn’t get annoying.
Okay, done ranting but all the fics I’m reading have the ladies written well or not well to me. Yes, I read a lot of slash but still…i hope when I write fics that have secondary characters, I write them strong and not seemingly weak…
