two days.
on monday afternoon i leave american soil for the first time since december of 2004. some have never left U.S. soil, even more have never left the americas. i find, each time, that it is an extremely benefitting and amazing experience. it is blessed, touched with grace, filled with history, foreign lands, excitement, and adventure. the experience of different cultures, places, peoples, and things seems to play on a chord in my soul to no end...and i welcome it glady.
so i will first venture to the world-wide famous London, and remain there till the 20th, whereupon i'll be hopping over to west ireland, where i will remain until the 24th. then i'll return to london for one last night and return in the morning.
what amazing adventures will i find! i'm discovering that knowing the language is not only more helpful but it also pushes me to inquire a bit deeper into the lesser-travelled areas and be a bit more adventuresome. i will be bringing my guitar along with me as well as my digital and old school cameras. it should be quite the experience. upon my return i plan to go up to dallas for mem. day weekend, then start recording for my CD the next weekend.
