Now err'body in the club get tipsy.
So tonight at Winter Carnival I was feelin' it on the dance floor, when suddenly, something occured to me. This was supposed to be a dance for a bunch of suburban white kids, and the DJ had somehow forgotten to play Tipsy!
Oh my God!
Thinking that I would be the hero in this tragic kingdom, I jogged over to the DJ and informed him that, "Dude, you wanna spin 'Tipsy' for me?"
"The Tipsy song?"
"Yeah, I wanna see err'body in the club get tipsy."
The DJ -- who, for your pleasure, was a faggot from the word go, with a thick grey turtleneck and a face that reminded me of Screech from Saved by the Bell. His hairstyle was that of a white MC Hammer.
And he proceeded to be shocked. "I forgot to play the Tipsy song?"
"Yes, you did."
"I went an entire dance without playing the Tipsy song?"
"Yes."
He grabbed me by both shoulders. "You can't have a dance without the Tipsy song!"
"No, no you can't."
The guy digs into his bag of CD's and pulls out a CD that is labeled 'Tipsy'. Right now I'm wondering what kind of DJ this guy is, because he hasn't asked me if I want the single (J-Kwon solo), or the remix ("Still Tipsy", J-Kwon with Nelly and Murphy Lee). Furthermore... his shit is on CD's. What a lame-ass. But, whatever, the song ("Bring 'Em Out") wrapped up, "Tipsy" came on, and yes, err'body in the club did get tipsy.
God damn, I need to get out more often.
