A.N. Here is my first Farscape Friday drabble (except that it's not a drabble - I guess you can't have everything).
Setting the scene - lots of arm waving, drink sloshing and thumping of tables in grand emphasis as they repeat themselves over and over... ;)
"She can't see that anymore... All she sees are the flaws."
"But you are the man she fell in love with John. This nose does not lie. There were hormones blazing. Blazing John! Zipping and flashing like some beautiful blazing, flashing thing."
"Dude, despite your eleg..eloq.. poetry the girl just sees me as the copy. I've lost her and I never really had her and but she was all I had and now I'm alone."
"Poetry! That's it! Sonnets my friend! We shall fan the embers with words of never-ending love. You're good with words John. You never shut up."
"The love did end man. He died and she's not listening anymore. Jeez D' all I get is the cold shoulder, I'm colder than a penguins ass. Just sitting here freezing off my gonads, which is ok 'cos I'll never get to use 'em"
"Don't use those words; those words aren't good ones. Talk about her hair, you like her hair. Oh and look John it rhymes - 'hair' and 'burn'- there's a theme, you can use that!"
"Microbes don't translate. Any poetry would probably be an assault on her eardrums."
"Yes John, an assault! Storm the fortress! She'll respect that. I understand a fellow warrior. Do that annoying thing where you won't go away. A frontal charge. A battle!"
"She'd kill me dead. Dead penguin ass."
"No John. No more dying please, it's annoying and I get emotional and then I'll tear up and then there's mucus."
"Ahh Rasta Man! With you on my side I can do anything - look see - we're drinking pk hooch in the middle of the officer's lounge with Scorpy two blocks over. We're shameless and undefeatable! Kirk and Spock, Abbott and Costello, Joanie and Chachi!"
"That's it John. We'll win her back for you!"
"I'm gonna confront her!"
"Yes John, but just in case, you know we can always go meet some new women. That fishy ocean and healing time things you kept saying about me and Chiana. You just know I'm here for you my friend."
"Dude shut up and keep the raslak coming. Just go with the flow and follow my lead. Hope Big D'."
