I've meet a guy...Matt...who just moved here from Penn. He is a youth leader and a church across town..his girls are same age as mine and on the same swim team. He is so cool and it hurts me to see that he is starting to get attacked in the same way from the same type of "christians" that I've see over and over.....seems that most people just want a "christian club" for their kids ...a place to stay out of trouble...nothing meaningful or deep. So sad. Matt and I are meeting once a week at starbucks ...reading the same book and discussing...very refreshing.
we have put everything on hold with the house..I'm getting Nicola a new Saturn Outlook in Dec and after that i want to check on what type of home improvement loan we can qualify for...we only need about 14,000 and it would be easier for me to just make a monthly payment for several years...it would take forever to save that amount...but I'm waiting to see what happens with all the banks etc......evidently our economy is strong and has no problems but thats not what i see.
Lilly....well....ummm....I think its almost THAT time. Oh dear father in heaven -gracious lord of the universe---prince of peace and our great provider!!! HELP ME!!!! (There will only be one set of footsteps in the sand for a while!!)
