Getting $$ for going to college
So, I've gotten so many grants that I have my whole year paid for, and there was money left over that I got a check for today. How sweet is that--I don't have to pay a penny for the year, I don't have to take out a single loan, and I get paid, while going to college.
Anyway, I hung out with a bunch of friends yesterday and didn't practice a lot--I like Thursdays to be a little relaxed, since Wednesday is so packed! Wednesday I started at 6am and didn't even get to stop until 9pm! No lunch--no dinner--no real breaks. So, it's nice to relax on Thursdays.
So, now the tricky part of my day is trying to figure out who I want to hang out with tonight--I could hang out with the friends at my house (they're having a BBQ), or I could hang out with piano group of friends 1, or piano group of friends 2, (or one of them individually or collectively--whatever), or the Austin group--or this girl that I want to date if she's not busy.
But one thing, I refuse to practice on a Friday night--mainly because NO ONE practices on Friday nights. Nobody.
My music is coming along nicely--I just got another vocalist to accompany--I was nice, and only charged him $75 for the semester--I'm a nice guy. The others charge 125-150 a semester--which is still being nice because there's some work involved, so I guess that makes me really nice.
Anyway, I'm going to go have a productive day, and have a fun Friday night! It's okay, though--I've already had a productive day, so by tonight I will have been really productive.
