Camping -- so now I'm excited!
Motorcycle camping. Sounds like fun!
Dwayne's post about a run down to the 'banks has Kris and I all fired up. We're thinking we might even ride up 64 a little bit and meet people on the way into VB before we return to the casa for food, rest, beer and other preparations.
What's required...
The thumper is mechanically ready for anything. By the time we leave the new (used) pannier racks should be here and hopefully I'll find some GIVI or Pelican cases on the cheap and easy. Lowered pegs should let my mutant legs stretch out a bit, too.
For Kris, the kawa should really get it's carbs cleaned as they are somewhat gummed up. At the very least it would make things easier / nicer. Might have to get her to reinstall the windshield, too. She has a butch set of leather saddle bags (she's so butch). Our own pirate :)
I'm totally up on just bopping a few hours down per day and wander, wander, wander. Maybe there's some off-road in there for the fun of it? Hmmmmmmm...
