1st Algebra Test~its a Giant!!!!
On Monday to cover the following topics....
Signed Numbers
Exponents
Simplfing Algebraic Expressions
Linear Equations
Inequalities
Absolute Value
Absolute Value w/Inequalities
Formulas
Adding/Subtracting Polynomials
Mult/dividing Polynomials
Order of Operations
Equations w/Fractions
Graphing
Once you master one topic and move on....you loose the previous topic....you have to do this stuff constantly to retain it for the test...and when all jumbled together....it is a real gem to figure out what kind of problem it is, and what you are supposed to do....
wish me luck...need my 80pts...have to get to 500 something to pass....
It is a point system in this class....and even if you do all homework, pass every quiz, do all group work, and pass the 1st three tests....that still puts you at only a C average for the class...you still have the pass the cumlative final.
It is such a set up it isnt even funny!
