AArrrrrrggggggh….

Very frustrating day on a lot of accounts.  More after the cut.

For some reason, my software to communicate with work is just hanging up all over the place when I want to log in, and I keep turning off this, that and the other to figure out WTF is snagging it.  There also seems to be something transient that is messing up burns for the backup stuff, so I’m playing find-the-problem, which eats up a lot of time.

Home health nurses - two visits, two people, and they all ask the dopiest questions.  Nurse A screwed up the paperwork for Nurse B, who was actually a stand-in for Nurse C.  A and B got the impression that I had all sorts of problems, starting with incontinence and pneumonia and diabetes, and I said no, I don’t.  Over and over again.  They get a lot of weak, elderly people with multiple infirmities, and I have to keep saying that my problems are in a different direction and I’m decades younger than those people.  Sheesh.

Really, the only reason they’re here is to make sure I’m taking the antibiotics and that the cellulitis is dying out, and they never check on those.

Meredith is going in to the doctor Wednesday morning in regard to her jaw problem, and this will screw with my Wednesday morning teleconferences - if they’re going on.  (Since my email to work is kaput until I figure the bug, and they have a habit of not having the conferences because key people are out, I have no idea as if it’s going on or not, but  I always have to act is if it is.)  And it will also screw with her school day; turns out that she’s way behind in reading a book for class, and hadn’t told us; I had no idea about it until today that she had a report due on it tomorrow!  (Normally, I go through her assignments, but her school stuff went with her to Kansas City, and they didn’t get home until late on Saturday…)  So she’s in big trouble for tomorrow for fooling around on getting this done.  *glyph of exasperation*

And Mere also kept ditzing around about talking to me about what we should do  for Mommy for Mother’s Day; we have a plan now, but I almost had to make it up whole and feed it to her. She seems to be really wired and easily distractable recently, and I’m switched if I know why.  Sissy?  I dunno.

She crashed shortly before I did, stomping off to her room and locking the door; Susan easily sprang the lock, and I heard them talk for a minute or three.  And when I went back, she was in our bed, cuddled up to her mom.  The reason I’m up at 1 am writing this is because I got into bed on my side, fell asleep, and got woken up by her kicking and flailing around in her sleep.   Enough of that, and I finally decided to come down here to my office and hack at things, including that blocked bio I’m sweating over.

New mortgage paperwork for the refinance, and this is supposed to be a final - and the numbers are all scrambled from what they were, and no idea as to why.  Had to go through it with a fine toothed comb, and THAT eats time like nothing else.  And I have to get ahold of them in the morning with lots of what’s-that questions, before the 5 pm closing…

See the entry title for the summation.  I’m going back to bed.
