Backed Up:
I’m looking at the pile of stuff on my must-read list, and realizing that I’m In For a Busy Month. Point of fact, this is the most piled up I’ve been for a while, between that and house paperwork. (pay no attention to the to-read list on the Memnison site, it’s woefully out of date.
The Maytag repair guy got in here around lunchtime today, and decided that the problem was indeed the motor / controller board, and it was under warranty. New setup, and less than $130 for the service call - not too bad, and the washer works again.
Mere is still running a fever, and is up and around when she feels well enough. She’s gotten a fascination for the effects of filtering materials and specific gravity and miscibility of liquids, so the trash in the kichen has been busy with ’science experiments’. She’s really impressed with how well paper filters work…luckily we don’t drink much coffee!
And the cardinals and the chickadees are going nuts over the bird feeder outside our front picture window. The squirrels don’t seem to care for the stuff, which was the point…
