Root Canal
So I had my first root canal Wednesday. I thought I might need a filling replaced or have a new cavity. Nope, root canal. They did it right then, so I didn't have much time to get anxious and jittery over it. My mouth and jaw are still a bit sore, but it's manageable with ibuprofen. I get to go back in two weeks to get a crown put on. I look forward to stopping at the near-by fantastic chocolate shop on the way back to the metro. They have amazing hot chocolate.
Tomorrow I'm taking a road trip with my coworker, Kim. We're going down to Norfolk, VA to see UCONN vs. Southern in the first round of the NCAA women's tournament. Kim went to UCONN and is a huge fan. I know people who went to Southern and was looking for a good reason to go some place fun this weekend.
ell had some great suggestions for things in and around Norfolk and Virginia Beach. I feel certain that we will at least hit the recommended bar and ice cream shop if we manage nothing else as we are women who have our priorities in order.
