Maximilian I - A Habsburg on Montezuma's Throne
http://hdl.handle.net/1893/3433

The lack of direct citation in Joan Haslip's Crown of Mexico: Maximilian and His Empress Carlota has driven me to find another biographical source, but with citations, that are directly supporting. I once again turned to the Shapiro library, after a trip to the giant used bookstore downtown was fruitless.

Using the multi-search function I chose a fairly recent history thesis. “Maximilian I - A Habsburg on Montezuma's Throne.” This source should work well for my topic, as it is a history thesis, written using proper citation for the form. It is a large document, but like the biographical book I had attempted to use, is outlined in the table of contents, and shows itself to be chronologically formatted.

It was one of the top search results in previous multi-searches I had done through the Shapiro Library, but I had passed it over again and again, not wanting to take the first result, but thinking that something deeper might having some information that might be neglected.

I searched in a very straight forward fashion, with Maximilian I of Mexico as my parameters, knowing that the broader my search, the more results I could pick and choose through.
