Arrived at CERN

I've arrived, safe and sound and only slightly rumpled, in my hostel room at CERN. The only hiccup was that the checkin desk was closed; I didn't know I was supposed to pick up my room key at the guard gate. So I had to hump my stuff from the gate to the hostel, and back to the gate, and back to the hostel. I probably overpacked again.

I'm in building 39 room 0-17. My phone has a sticker on it that says 022 767 9017.

I'm going to go get something to eat now, and then I'll probably be online intermittently the rest of the evening.

Tomorrow I go to meet the maintainers of the CDS Invenio and hopefully mind meld. At the very least there will be some decent tea drunk.
