Johnny's Jr

Potato 5-2012

Exciting Case Files

Q1. What is one case you’re researching right now?

Q2. What is your specialty?

Q3. What is your signature phrase?

Mizuki Inoue

A1. Stealing

A2. Tranquilizing gun

A3. Fu…!! (In a smug way)

If I was a detective, I want to solve a difficult and big case. It will be worth the effort, and it seems like a lot of fun, right? But I don’t think I can do things like following the suspect without them noticing (laughs). Someone who seems like a good detective is Tanimura-kun. He is good at predictions, and I think he has a sixth sense, so he can probably guess who the culprit is. On the other hand, someone who might not be good at being a detective is Furubayashi-kun. He’s natural and fluffy (laughs). If I were to be a detective with someone, that would be Iwabashi-kun. Recently, I’ve been settling down because “ABC-za Star Play” finished. The biggest impression that I still have is the fact that I did Hashimoto-kun’s solo part. In between stages, it was really fun to decide parts and play “A.B.C-Z skits.” The other time, I had a lot of fun playing video games with my friends! I’m really into a baseball game right now!

Ryuichi Tanimura

A1. Kuramoto-kun’s personality.

A2. Throwing moves.

A3. It’s not good to keep things a secret.

Until about second grade, I only knew about detectives through anime, and I was thinking, “Are detectives mostly children?” (laughs). But recently, after watching Matsumoto (Jun)-kun’s drama, “Lucky Seven,” my image changed. Detectives not only use their head, but also their body as well. If I were to send someone to the location, I would pick Mizuki-kun. I think he’ll be hard to spot because he’s small (laughs). After we know who the culprit is and someone has to capture him, I think the strongest one would be Wakiyama-kun. I’m not very brave, so even if I am following the suspect, I think, “Wait, I might be found out!” and so it might be hard for me… Recently, in “Johnny’s Jr. Land,” I’m working hard for a segment called “Become Japan’s Number One”! And when I’m studying at home and become a little tired, I watch the programs that I’ve been in and reflect on things, and try to fix the places I didn’t like. Right now, that’s my little breather between studies.

Genki Iwahashi

A1. The fact that Miyachika (Kaito)-kun’s jokes are too boring.

A2. THE instinct.

A3. It’s YOUUUU!!!

For detectives, the important thing is to not be found out. I think someone who might be a good detective is Tanimura-kun. That’s because he’s the smart type. I don’t think I’ll be good at being a detective (laughs). I’m bad at math and calculations, so I don’t think I’m good at reasoning either. But following the suspect seems to be fun and exciting, so I want to try that. A case that I want to solve is a murder case, although it might be scary. If I were to be a detective with someone, maybe I’d pick Saneyasu? He’s proper and not the type to become frisky, so I don’t think we would be found out very easily. Right now, I’m practicing in the park with my friends for “Johnny’s Jr. Baseball Tournament 2012 Spring.” I’ll be a high school student in April, and so I want to work harder on my English. My future dream is to live in America. I don’t really care if I can’t accomplish it until I’m a grandfather, but I want to try living peacefully in someplace like Los Angeles. For this dream, I want to master English by the time I graduate high school!

Ryusei Akiba

A1. A stealing case.

A2. I actually have a time machine.

A3. I’m a time traveler! (Sparkle)

My image of a detective is an agent who solves cases that the police can’t handle. I’m not very good with complicated things, so I don’t think I’d be good at it. Saneyasu is good with computers, and is skillful, so I think he’d be good at it. Someone who is not good for a detective is Kuri-chan. I think he’ll quickly be like, “I’m quitting!” (laughs). Tanimura-kun is probably good at being a detective too, but since he believes too hard in certain things, he might be wrong even if he believes in something (laughs). From April, I’m going to be part of “Test’s Kadou”! The other time, my face became completely wet as a part of the shoot. In my private time, I’m really into billiards. I’m not very good at it yet, but I think I’m improving. And I’m also thinking about starting an instrument like a guitar or base or drums. It’ll become my specialty, so it’ll be beneficial!
