  • The chocolate you were given was actually meant for a different member…

This actually happens to me sometimes in the cities! Not chocolate, but a girl suddenly called me over, and I thought she was my fan, but she said to me, “I’m a fan of ____! Please tell him ‘hi’ for me!” (laughs). But I think this experience has happened to any one of the members. If I have the chance to meet the other members soon and if I still remember it then, I make sure to tell the person what I was told. If it’s a Valentine’s chocolate… if I knew the girl, I might give it to the person, but if I didn’t know her at all, I would really be troubled by that (laughs).
  • On Valentine’s Day, you became excited because you hadn’t imagined how you would be handed the chocolate. How did she hand it to you?

First of all, because I go to an all-boy’s school, there is no way that I will get one during school. So no matter in what way the girl gives it to me, I think I would be super excited. I think it would be weird to have a girl in my class since I’ve spent so much time in the all-boy’s school (laughs).

  • The chocolate you were given was actually meant for a different member…

If it was from a girl I liked, I would act “uninterested” (laughs). I think I would normally say, “Oh, okay. He’s a good guy.” Especially if the person was Non-chan (Kotaki), I would probably stress, “He’s a really good guy!” (laughs). Of course, I would give the chocolate properly to the person, because I’m “a guy that keeps a promise- Shingaki” (laughs).
  • On Valentine’s Day, you became excited because you hadn’t imagined how you would be handed the chocolate. How did she hand it to you?

I would be excited for anything! But I wouldn’t look too closely inside desks. And then while the girl is thinking, “Why isn’t he looking inside?!” I would tell her, “Thank you for the chocolate” in a place with just the two of us, and make her heart beat. Actually, I would have already checked first thing in the morning (laughs). But since I already talked about this scenario here, I would never be able to actually do this (laughs).

  • The chocolate you were given was actually meant for a different member…

That would be really complicated! I would say, “Okay” outwardly, but I think I wouldn’t be able to help my true feelings escape a little bit (laughs). Actually, people sometimes tell me, “I’m a fan of so-and-so” on the streets, but how am I supposed to react when I’m told that (laughs)? I still don’t understand that part!
  • On Valentine’s Day, you became excited because you hadn’t imagined how you would be handed the chocolate. How did she hand it to you?

I would be excited for anything. But if there was a passionate letter or something with the chocolate, I think I would be even more excited. The record for how many chocolates I received would be thirty in kindergarten. I think I used up my “popular period” once that time, and it’s said that it only comes three times in a lifetime (laughs). I wonder when my next “popular period” will come. I hope that it’s at least before I’m sixty years old (laughs). It’s just my image, but I think the day after Valentine’s Day, Shige would tell me, “I got chocolate from my mom and sister!” with a really proud face (laughs
