Shota Kawasaki
[Back handspring] My specialty is kickboxing, but I only started it because my parents told me to become stronger. I didn’t like how it hurt when I got kicked, and so I ended up quitting after only three years. And I wanted a new specialty so that I can work hard as a Junior, and so I started practicing back handsprings yesterday. I went to some sort of a gymnastics class and the teacher taught me there. During the one day, I was able to do backward handsprings on the mat. Because of that, practice is really fun! Today, I’m going to my second practice.

Kyohei Nishimoto
[Ootsuka Yuya] The time we spend together is love (laughs). We’re the same age, but he’s older than me in terms of Junior years, so I was calling him “Ootsuka-kun” at first. But while we’re playing games, I got excited and called him “Yuya,” and since then, it’s always been “Yuya.” We’re always talking about games and other small things like how we can’t remember what the dinner was yesterday. It’s almost as if other people can’t come into our conversation. Recently, he’s been busy with his stage play, and that’s really sad, but while he’s working on that, I’ll work on my game and become stronger.
Nishimoto Kyohei: Born November 19, 1997 in Tokyo. Height 162cm, weight 40kg, blood type A. [Favorite subject] History. [Favorite food] Pasta, meat. [Favorite type of girl] Someone who has good manners and nice language.
Koki Furubayashi
[Curry rice] The people in my family all love curry. My mother’s vegetable curry is good too, but the seafood curry that my father makes on days off is the best! When we eat outside, my favorite is mutton curry. What I love best is dishes with meat in it. I like meat however it is cooked, but the number one favorite would be Japanese style pork, simmered for five days, which my mother makes. I can eat three bowls or rice with that! By the way, a dish I’m good at making is to put cheese on bread and to heat it up (laughs).

Genki Iwahashi
[Classical American cars] From long ago, the things I thought were “cute” would be girls in American dramas, or products made in USA. I basically adore the “overseas.” I especially love classical American cars right now. I saw Yamashita (Tomohisa)-kun ride it on the late night show, “YAMASHITA TOMOHISA ROUTE66 Alone in America” and I became interested immediately. Until I get my license, I can only look, so I search images up on the computer and look for two to three hours.

Asahi Hajiyama
[Pop clothes] Last spring, I came to Tokyo from Okayama, but Tokyo is full of cool buildings that I was like, “Is this a city from the future!?” There are a lot of shops that sell fashionable clothing, and I became interested in fashion also. I like pop clothes, so I can’t help but look at bright colored T-shirts like pink or yellow. I got money from my parents from New Year’s, so I was going to buy clothes, but I ended up buying a game… Maybe I’m still in love with games more than in fashion!?

Hayate Adachi
[Hip hop] Influenced by my older sister, who was going to dance school, I started to learn hip hop dancing from third grade. But I only went to dance school until fifth grade. I wanted time to play (laughs). But I soon wanted to dance again, so I decided to be in the audition to become a Jr. I haven’t told my friends yet, so the fact that a magazine with my face on it is going to be on sale makes my heart beat… While I was learning dance at school, I was dancing in center all the time. I hope I can have fun and dance again soon!
