So Google released this thing which lets you broadcast your current geographical position at all times (provided you're using Google maps on your smart phone).  It's called Google Latitude Everyone is all ambivalent (or even upset) about this, but I think we just need to figure out when it's good to use this sort of thing.   Like when you want everyone to know you're wandering around on a Friday evening with nothing to do, so they'll invite you over.

Or maybe I just use technology as a crutch to avoid actually reaching out to people? I post that I'm in Pittsburgh but don't actually call anyone.
