Summary: Daiki is a very good guy. He is smart, courteous and has a girlish feature even though he is a guy. He has a childhood-friend and at the same time best friend named Chinen Yuri, they are living together. In their school, there is a guy named Takaki Yuya who is the most popular guy and his cousin too Yamada Ryosuke. Takaki, Ryosuke and their other friends are the most popular but the worst guys in the school. Rude, arrogant and disrespectful, that is what Daiki and Yuri really hates…. As soon as they met the two cousins and their friends, their peaceful high school life becomes hell.

“Ah!!!! It’s been a while since I got here at the school. I kinda missed it!!!!” Kei reacted after walking out of the car.
“You’re exaggerating too much, my love.” whispered Kota as he hugs Kei.
Kei just giggle a bit. “Oh! Yuri, let me help you.”
“Thanks Inoo-chan.” Yuri said as he got out of the car with the support of Kei.
Yuri just got discharged out of the hospital yesterday. Since they skipped school too much already, the squirrel decided to come to school.
As all of them got out of their cars, they headed to the grounds.
“Um, Chii?” Ryosuke called. The called guy turned his head.
“Do you need something?” Yuri asked.
“A-about the plans…..” Ryosuke nervously continued “are you still going to agree with it?”
“Not today Yamada, I already told you that I am not going to agree with that bathing thing. Have you forgotten that today is Tuesday? We will start tomorrow.” Yuri stated annoyingly.
“I-I’m sorry!!” Ryosuke immediately apologized and started to walk faster.
“Now that was weird.” Ryutaro exclaimed as he stares at the disappearing figure of Ryosuke.
“He is always weird.” Yuto sarcastically said.
“C’mon now guys, we wouldn’t want to be late right?” Hikaru said and the others started to separate their ways.
“See you later guys.” Kei said as they started walking away, leaving Daiki, Keito and Takaki alone.
“Let’s go?” Keito asked. The two latters just nod their heads.
A heavy tension filled the atmosphere. Keito is too serious in his novel while Daiki and Takaki just walk in silence side by side. Daiki is too bothered by his conversation with Takaki yesterday. He doesn’t know if it’s the right time to say that…..
FLASHBACK
“I already knew that you had developed the same feelings for me. It is just that; I knew there is something holding your back.”
“N-no, it is n-not true.” Daiki defended as he looked away.
“Why? Dai-chan, you know you can always share your burdens with me right? Please, tell me what is it? It’s hurting me. It is hurting me not knowing what your true feeling is.” Takaki said as he forcefully yet gently turned Daiki’s head to face him.
“It is not what you think. That is not the true.” Daiki said as he lowers his head.
“For God’s sake Daiki! I know I am dumb but I am not that stupid not to know that you’re suffering!!! You’re suffering because you keep avoiding your feelings!!” Takaki shouted as he stood up. Daiki followed as well but still looking down.
“Stop it.” Daiki whispered. He is now trembling because he is controlling his tears.
“No Daiki, I won’t stop!! You need to realize that you need someone to listen-“
“YES!! All of your statements are true!!! I am still stuck at my past!!! I am still stuck at my painful past!! If you are suffering, I am suffering much more!!! I can’t express my feelings for you because I am afraid to love again!! I am afraid to be left out!!! Now you know the answer to your question, are you happy now?!” Daiki shouted back as he let his tears roll down on his cheeks.
Takaki was shocked by the sudden burst out Daiki had just made. He is so surprised to know that this happy-go-lucky person has a painful past. Worst is, the reason of Daiki’s painful past is love. No wonder he never let his feelings out.
“I-I’m sorry.” Takaki managed to utter as he gave Daiki a warm, gentle hug.
“It hurts. It really, really hurts. I know I should forget about him because 3 years had already past. I finally manage to return to my old self, but when you appeared in my life-“
“Shhh~~ It’s going to be alright.” Takaki mollified as he gently rubs the latter’s back.
Daiki sobbed in Takaki’s arm as he felt the same warmth he had felt on the first person he loved.
END OF FLASHBACK
“Arioka-kun, is there something wrong? You need to catch up on the lessons yet you’re spacing out. Please pay more attention.” The teacher scolded before returning to his writings. Daiki hadn’t notice that he is already in the classroom. Indeed, he is spacing out.
“Calm yourself Daiki. What happened yesterday is nothing. Just act your normal self. You can do this!!!” Daiki cheered himself before paying attention to the lesson.

“I see you are dozing off back there. Is there something bothering you?” Keito asked as he plopped down beside Daiki. They are spending their lunch break on the rooftop.
“Why? What happened?” Kei frowned. He too, noticed that Daiki is a bit silent today.
“I’m fine Keito, Inoo-chan.” Daiki smiled.
“Are you sure? You looked like your soul left your body since yesterday.” Yuri worriedly stated.
“Do I? Well, sorry for worrying you guys buy I am fine; really.” Daiki reassured.
“Inoo-chan, your not-so-innocent looking pervert boyfriend is here; hopping up and down behind your back.” Ryutaro itemized, not looking away from his NDS.
“Eh?” Kei confusedly turned around and indeed; his beloved Kota is hopping up and down behind him.
“Are you somewhat a rabbit? Or you just turned into a hyper guy like Chii?” Kei asked sarcastically.
Kota pouted before retorting “Can’t I be excited by meeting my Kei?”
“Kota, we just parted ways at lunch time. Plus, you already had me enough during lessons earlier. Are you even paying attention to the lessons?”
Kota was about to answer but Kei was faster.
“Don’t answer it because I already know the answer. Your eyes are glued on me the whole time.” Kei said as he rolled his eyes and continued his eating.
Yuri and Keito just chuckled a bit after hearing a little lover’s quarrel. It is kinda cute.
“I didn’t know that a fragile girly looking guy like you can be so sarcastic and rational.” Hikaru utter disbelievingly.
Kei shot him some glares.
“Is that a compliment or you are just wanting to get on my nerves?” Kei ask.
“It is a COMPLIMENT!!” Hikaru defensively said. Kei can just roll his eyes.
“It looks like my beautiful lover is in bad mood.” Kota commented only to be ignored.
Daiki just silently listen to his friends’ silly conversation. He clearly remembered the moments he had spent with his first love. Along with Kei and the others, they share their laughter’s and stories to each other. Every day is like leaving in a fairy-tale that time. But he realized that happiness doesn’t last forever. That incident proves it perfectly; how reality is too cruel for him
3 YEARS AGO
“Why?” Daiki whispered as he gently get a touch of the pale, cold hands of his lover.
“WHY!!??” Daiki shouted as tears started to flow from his chubby cheeks.
“Daiki.” Kei called as he soothed his friend.
“He can’t be dead Inoo-chan! He just can’t! He promised me!! He promised to be with me until the end! Why? Why does he have to leave me? He doesn’t deserve to die!!” Daiki sobbed in Kei’s arms.
“No one deserves to die Dai-chan, no one. It is just that; our life is not really our possession. We cannot keep it forever. Even though we know that we will leave somebody who is precious to us, we do not have a choice but to leave, because it is our fate. Even though we cannot protect the oath we had made and we cannot fulfil the promises we had kept, we cannot do anything but to accept the truth.” Kei explained as he stroke Daiki’s hair.
“You know, he will be sad if he sees you like this. You should move on and continue your life without him. Time will surely come that you will meet another wonderful person like him.”
Daiki pulled out from the hug and kneeled beside the lifeless guy he ever adores. Those hazel-brown orbs that he always stares at are now close for eternity. Those hands that are always warm are now cold as ice. And those pink yet thin lips that he always loves to taste are now pale.
“I will not make any promises about moving on. But I will try. I loved you, I love you and I will always and forever love you.” Daiki utter as he stood up, gave his last kiss on those once tempting lips and headed out, feeling very crushed.
END OF FLASHBACK
“Mind me sitting here?” A familiar voice woke him up out of his trance. He looked up and he saw the same hazel-brown eyes.
“Why does he possess the same features as him?” Daiki thought.
“Go on.”
“Looks like you are in deep thought. Do you wanna share it with someone?” Takaki ask as he gazes at the silly guys who are fighting about who will treat at the next get-together.
“About the conversation we had yesterday…” Daiki started.
“I think that is something private. I think I shouldn’t poke on that unless you are willing to talk about it with me.” Takaki said, still not looking at Daiki.
“What if I already wanted to talk about it? Would you like to listen?” Daiki ask hesitantly. Takaki looked at him with unreadable eyes.
“What makes change your mind?”
“Well, I was kinda bothered by your words yesterday. You said you are suffering right? I want to get rid of it. I will now tell you my true feelings” Daiki uttered.
“Meet me at the park on Sunday, 7 o’clock pm.” Daiki continued as he stood up. The bell rang and they all started to arrange their things and get ready to head to their next class.
“I think I should prepare myself to get rejected.” Takaki mumble.

“Yuto-kun!”
The tall boy reluctantly turns his head to the source of the voice and was surprised Keito running on his way.
“Do you need something Keito-kun?” Yuto ask confusingly as Keito stopped in front of him; with his palms on his knees.
“Mind strolling with?” Keito ask as composed himself.
“S-sure.” Yuto nodded.

“Ne Kota, do you think Yuto-kun likes Keito?” Kei ask as he snuggles to his boyfriend. All of the guys-including Haruma and Shohei-are on Daiki’s mansion; slacking off.
“100% sure! Do you see the way they look at each other? It is like, behind those looks, there’s a meaning.” Kota said.
“Keito is not the type to express his feelings. Yes he is smart. But when it comes to his feelings, he is the densest person in the world.” Kei exclaimed.
“Same goes for Yuto.”
“Do you mind us being cupids?” Kei ask with a sly smile appearing on his face.
“As long as my baby is happy~” Kota cooed.
“I have an idea.”

School’s life was a hectic!
But now I have time to slack off since I had done my projects.
