In the Senate, Manchin seems to be winning more solidly in WV than expected, and Blumenthal in CT is doing a bit worse than one might expect (both have been called for the D's, but less than 40% of the vote is in). Christine O'Donnell goes down in flames melts.

The Connecticut Catholic Conference ... wants to ensure that a florist opposed to gay marriage on religious grounds not be forced to sell flowers to a same-sex couple.

"Minutes after a judge entered a final ruling, the New Haven city clerk's office issued its first marriage license to a gay couple. It went to Barbara and Robin Levine-Ritterman of New Haven, one of the eight couples who successfully challenged a state law prohibiting gay marriage."
