The Hall of Merit, a cooperative project done by a bunch of dedicated statheads at Baseball Think Factory, excludes all three of these guys; they are each among the weakest players in the HOF at their positions. Funny what the power of a poem will do.
BTW, if you like baseball and like to compare players from different eras, you should go and read the archived discussions of the Hall of Merit without delay. They are very, very, long, but insanely awesome; there is excellent discussion of 19th century players, Negro leaguers, in addition to wide-ranging information on the players in the current Hall (and those unjustly excluded).
