On days when you think the entire so-called civilized world has gone certifiably insane, and the United States will never again get its economic shit together, it's nice to know there are some things one can smile at:
- Portugal's legislature passed equal marriage rights legislation today
- There were zero US combat fatalities in Iraq in December
- Joe Lieberman is now hated by everyone.
- The Golden Ratio was found embedded in certain nanoscale quantum effects.
