#16 To Brie or Not to Brie by Avery Aames
The small town of Providence, Ohio is gearing up for a busy week. The theater is performing Hamlet against the backdrop of a mini-Renaissance festival, followed by a Stomping the Grapes fun run through the local Bozzuto winery to benefit the animal rescue center, and the wedding of Matthew and Meredith, Charlotte's cousin and best friend. As tourists descend upon the town, the abusive ex-husband of Charlotte's soon-to-be sister-in-law, Jacky, arrives in town with his violent brother. After stalking Jacky one evening, he turns up dead in the freezer of the local ice cream parlor. Charlotte doesn't know who to suspect, but she's sure Jacky couldn't have murdered him. She must pry into the lives of the locals once again to clear Jacky's name.
