I actually feel like a decent person

Baseball is going great! Finally, it's going as I thought it would before the year started. I'm feeling competitive now, like I belong on the team and I can help us win. School is going out of this world good lately. I actually have high expectations now, something I haven't had since sophomore year in high school. It's amazing what that ancient pre-test ritual that is commonly known as studying can do for the brain. :D Still at war in my head about my outlook on life, and trying to stay positive and just focus on me. I'm slowly getting better.

Hope is good. Hope for my life is also something I haven't truly had in too long. But this time I don't feel lucky about baseball. I know why I am succeeding, what I'm doing right. I'm not just walking up on the mound hoping I have my good stuff or hoping a pitch moves. I don't think this just a temporary good patch for me. I'm soooo excited for the upcoming season. I can't wait. Shit, I'd even take a quick winter break to get to the ball field. Only with my arm remaining the way it is, or getting better, of course. Okay, so maybe a quick winter break wouldn't be so pleasing as I am looking forward to time with Elisabeth. But I still can't wait for season.

Whew, I'm exhausted from getting up at 5 this morning for work. It's a freakin school night and it feels like I am sleeping in! Haha, now that is new.
