Happy 2009
Just got back from a fun and relaxing trip out to New England. It was busy but somehow it totally rejuvenated me. We spent the first few days in Central Mass seeing friends and family. I miss them all! The devestation caused by the crazy ice storm they had there was pretty insane to see. Mid week we went up to Vermont. The skiing was horrible as the mountains were sheer ice and the temperatures were just too cold to deal with. We took advantage of the downtime though and actually relaxed and did some touring around. It was one of the nicest little trips in memory. Our B&B in Ludlow was awesome too. Friday we drove into Boston and had 2 totally intense days of seeing friends which was also a blast.
Flying in last night was weird as we landed in ANOTHER snow storm and then had a horrifying taxi ride home where I was convinced we were going to die. Luckily (duh), we didn’t. And luckily the 6” of snow at our house is already melted. I am SICK of snow.
I’m looking forward to a pretty crazy 2009. It looks to be insane at first, then quiet but stressful, and then a mix of everything else. I’ve made my resolutions (and even updated my 5 year goals) and we’ll see how that goes. I’m ready!
