Last night was the first paper with new masthead. Not all that different from old masthead since a lot of people are back (including Kevin who was helping out with the webmastering.. he counts for a good part of the "classic Link feeling").

There's also a whole lot more French speaking at The Link -- it's funny.

Today I went to Concordia to see the people in summer attire. Wow. I had forgotten how people look without all those clothes on. I read the LAB and got this..

"We recently had a young, all lesbian group through, and the lead singer was, shall we say, quite portly. Several arguments occurred between her and the bass player during soundcheck, primarily due to the fact that the bass player's brand spanking new SVT was set to 30hz shockwave and was destroying the sound of the two acoustic guitars as well as the lead's vocal and flute. After everyone in the band and on the crew finally convinced her to turn down, all was well and the rest of soundcheck went smooth. Come showtime, 900 punters in the room, and halfway into the first song ms. bass turns around and turns the SVT up ALL THE WAY. The rest of the band starts struggling with monitors, the ME and BE are going nuts trying to keep it together, then the bassist asks for "way more low end from the bass" in her monitors. The lead shoots her the look from hell, to which ms. bass responds, loud and clear for everyone, that there's no problem with the bass, ****** just needs more fried chicken and a few sandwiches in her monitors.

Their set ended about a minute into the next song when it turned into a wrestling match."

Entertaining.

I then went to Polyscope to help with the 24 pages spoof issue. I think I did pretty good. Going back tomorrow to start the tuh-rashed-ing. (early bird gets the worm and all that)
