Never a waste of money
It's been a while since my last lingerie-related post, but don't let that fool you. I may have cut down on my monthly clothing budget, but for some reason my lingerie collection won't stop growing. I plan to dedicate an entire shelving section of my wardrobe (which, by the way, used to be the spare room, but has now been converted into my own walk-in-robe) to just lingerie. I blame eBay.
Here's a fraction of what I've accumulated over the past couple of months. Honestly, there's the makings of a lingerie blog in there.
Apparently when I can't sleep I buy undies before proceeding to have no memory of my purchases. It's a bit like giving yourself a Christmas present and acting all surprised that someone out there was thinking of you. Ken almost got a free pass until I found the receipt and realised that my secret admirer was actually just me.

Elle Macpherson Intimates Obsidian Pheonix contour bra and string
After three years I finally found the matching bottoms to this bra! Thank you eBay! This set is part of the Elle Macpherson Boudoir range; their high end range, which is unfortunately no longer made. A real pity because the Boudoir collection was always impeccably made and really pushed the design boundaries of the Australian lingerie market.

A favourite recent purchase from Toru and Naoko, a small (like, three-people small) lingerie brand based in Chile. Having spent a couple of weeks in Chile back in 2011, I am surprised that amazing lingerie designers exist in a country where lingerie stores, and even lingerie, is almost non-existent in the country (trust me, I looked everywhere). I don't even know what corner of the country she found this amazing stretch, floral fabric.
