Busy, busy, we are all busy.
What am I busy with? I'm not exactly sure.

Work is ramping up, with one of my projects moving into the construction phase. This means I get to spend lots of time at a construction site, where I insist on wearing pencil skirts and heels when meeting with contractors. I read somewhere that if a man smiles at you while discussing work, it means he doesn't respect your capabilities. So now I try really hard not to smile at people if we're discussing serious things, even though it makes me feel like I'm being a horrible and miserable person.

I did my first solo-demo pitch to a potential client today.
He just asked me for a proposal.

Ken and I are building an outdoor playpen for Inka. We visit Bunnings every weekend and I have begun polishing up on my interior designing skills. I can only imagine that this is great practice for when we have to renovate our own house.

I turned 24 on the 24th and felt old and somewhat depressed at how old I am and how little I think I have achieved. But I know I'm being too hard on myself. I am fairly convinced that I will have a complete breakdown when I turn a quarter of a century next year.
Ken and I went to dinner at my favourite Japanese restaurant.
He bought me Final Fantasy XIII X-2, which I have been wanting for two years as well as a flat-screen television. I don't really question what goes on in men's heads when they get into present-giving mode..

My wardrobe became more amazing, but I have no photos, so you'll just have to take my word.
