Summer isn't nearly long enough..
Sorry if you're friends with me on Facebook or Instagram, because you've probably already seen all of these photos. But honestly, apart from professional bloggers who get paid to fly around the world and attend fashion weeks, who has time for editorial-esh photoshoots to accompany their posts these days?
This is what I've been doing over the summer (apart from working, which SUCKS).
1. Eating over-priced yum cha at Spice Temple. I don't even know why we keep going here, or to any of Neil Perry's restaurants. My mum can cook better asian food and steaks than he can. I'm always tempted to leave a review on Urbanspoon saying, "Neil Perry should come to my mum's house to learn how to make dumplings."
2. Summer skirts and sandals. This Stylestalker skirt is from their Fight Club collection, which features a gorgeous print with bright purple and blue orchids on a monochrome backdrop of roses. They made pants, shirts, blouses and jackets with this print and I honestly wanted it all. I hunted this skirt forever, thinking that my size was sold out everywhere, but now I know that Stylestalker cut their sizes small, so really my size was available everywhere..
3. Hanging out with Lady Petrova ladies at Alice Nivens Cafe. This particular cupcake was eaten during the Lady Petrova Christmas party, where we had cupcakes, marshmallows, gingerbreak and champagne for dinner. We also got sneak-peaks of Petrova's next collection, but apparently I'm not supposed to speak about that!
4. Mel shoes from Lady Petrova. I have worn these heels all summer with no blisters, which is why I need them in every colour. My rabbit also loves these and has chewed little holes in the bows. Not sure if I'm heartbroken or overcome with motherly love..
5. Spoilt rabbit.
6. Spoilt rabbit lying in the bathroom and watching me shower during a hot day.
7. Shakuhachi ilk scarf print dress. So nice to wear on a hot summer's day. It has huge bat-wing sleeves and sometimes I tell Ken I'm an angel.
8. Hair crowns. The only good thing about having hair that reaches my ass is that I can wrap it around my head like a crown. It also makes my bleached tips look nice, as opposed to how they look every other day, which is brittle and neglected.
