I had my last exam today, or yesterday, I don't even know; my perception of time has been completely thrown out the window. But the point is, no more exams for the rest of my course, or the rest of my life! My engineering friends and I celebrated by doing what engineers do best; drink beer. I can't even begin to describe the sort of euphoric feeling I've been experiencing since stepping out of the exam.
Also on the plus side, Blythe came home from the vet the other day. The amount of money this chicken has leeched out of me has become so hilarious. Let's just say I could have bought a new dress. But, it seems like it's been worth it and she's getting better, although I'm not really sure because I'm the overbearing, paranoid mother. She thanked me by wiping her beak on my jumper after eating yoghurt, YEH THANKS FOR THAT.
I'm not quite sure what to do with my life the next four months. I'm sort of in that stage where it's enjoyable to wallow around the house and marvel at the fact that there's nothing to do. Going on the number of books lying around my room, it looks like I'll be reading during my entire summer holidays. Also, this came in the mail today/yesterday. A well-timed package, to celebrate no more exams. I have basically been crushing on this
Sretsis skirt for 500 years, ie. since it was released last year, but I can't afford $600 skirts. Recently found it for under a third of the price and rejoiced. It's more of a vanilla-yellow colour, which is a colour I don't usually wear for fear of looking like a bumblebee, but the frills are just too pretty. The boyfriend calls it the jellyfish skirt, I'll take that as a good thing. Jellyfish are cool, right?
Trying something new..
