You know what I don't get? I don't get why guys, and in particular gamers, like to sit in a dingy, dark room with all the windows and curtains closed. Then when you tear the curtains open, they're blinded for a good minute by the authentic, non-artificial light, which is actually quite a hilarious sight. If you can't witness this because you don't have a geeky brother, then just go to Reyans house :)
You know what's even funnier? The fact the everyone except for some people are completely obsessed with the movie 300. HAHAHA I think it will be quite awhile before all those msn nics, mobile ringtones and spartan jokes disappear for good.
And because I'm on a roll at noticing all the cool things in life, how cool is it when you see other L drivers on the road? I was driving around the Burwood area today and there were about seven of us L people, it was like a freaking parade. I feel like I should wave or achknowledge them in some way, but really, how safe is it for me to even take one hand off the steering wheel? Oooh, AND, you know how there's that 'ducks crossing' sign near VicRoads, well I actually saw ducks crossing today!! It was the most cutest thing I have ever seen in my entire life. For the record, they do cross in a straight line :P
I can't wait for my new kanzashi to arrive! Yeh, I know, I could make them myself, but that would require too much effort, besides I don't think I'm skilled enough. Plus,
gochemoche, makes them far too well.
I can't remember if I posted a photo of my last one, but oh, I can't resist aqua blue..
I was surfing around
strawberrynet (yay for online cosmetic shops) today as well, and came across Chanel's limited edition La Ligne De aka. eyeliner. I'm pretty sure none of us were born yet, but before they had pencil eyeliners there was the cake liner which you manually put on with a brush, quite like painting with watercolour! No, I don't think you understand how excited I am at finding this, I needed to vent when I found out this was only available in Paris. However, at $50, I'm a bit hesitant at clicking the 'checkout' button.
Chanel, blue && black, eyeliner, limited edition, WHY BE SO PERFECT?!
I know this is old news, but I have to mention Kate Moss' collection for Topshop. Her
lookbook is finally out and although I'm more for the refined look, I'm quite impressed by the chic-boho look ;; very Kate. Unfortuantly it's nt available in Aus, but I'm sure if you're desperate, you could get them online..if they're not sold out.
I wouldn't mind paying a bit for this dress though..
Ahh, damn being one season behind all the time. I remember 6 months ago, when I wanted to get a sweater dress but couldn't find one, now they're everywhere! I wish I could stock up with Spring/Summer '07 lines now but unfortuantely my back account doesn't permit..
And I found the weirdest thing while online:
bacon bandages.
I guess they could be pretty cool, if you like have a picture of bacon everytime you scrape your knee. If bacon isn't your thing, then why not get the steak or bacon & eggs bandaids!
