After much consideration, I have decided that I must be a princess and that someone must have put a pea under my mattress because that would explain why it feels like someone kicked me in the back. That, or this chest/throat infection is really that horrible.
Sort of too lazy to do my yearly fashion roundup, however I will mention that whoever Sandra Bullock's stylist is, they must have kicked off some serious competition to get a hold on
that molten silver Marchesa dress. Coincidently, I found that my favourite dresses at this year's Oscars were already saved on my computer, from when I'd gone through collections during fashion week. I'm quite delighted that these dresses got an airing out, but was slightly disappointed by the lack of Christian Dior and John Galliano.
Poor Zoe Saldana is making it on all the Worst Dressed lists, but I thought she pulled off this Givenchy couture gown perfectly. I don't care if she looks like she's rolling toilet paper, to me this girl an pull off anything.
Sarah Jessica Parker in this Chanel haute couture dress; the only person who could pull this off. Personally I think the model wears the dress better, skinny bitches don't exist in the real world.
Diane Kruger in last season's (WHAT? LAST SEASON? SHOCK HORROR) Chanel haute couture dress. My favourite look of the Oscars. A case of the right dress on the right person, but really, she can wear anything.
Also, I can no longer keep this in me any longer: how is it possible that Diane Kruger isn't royalty? I mean seriously, just look at her. That aristocratic face, perfect poise, air of elegance. She belongs in the 1950s with Ingrid Bergman and Grace Kelly.
