So I've been idly doing some snooping around, looking up anonymous comment posters to my LiveJournal via IP address and found some interesting locations.
The person who jumped to Ben Saracco's defense in
this entry is in this area. He posted anonymously but claimed his account name was "abadman". If that's true, then he should have posted from Wisconsin. As suspected.... well, I don't really have to say what I suspected, do I?
There's another mysterious reader, one I'm completely in the dark about, but one I'm not too bothered by for leaving me in the dark. S/He, too, has been subject to my tracing abilities and, oddly enough, the address look-up lead me to... USA Today...?
Huh?
Everything else gave me a very different report. This was just strange. This flat-out said "USA Today" in VA.
USA Today guy/gal.... you're confusing me. Shouldn't you be working? And what's up with you guys cutting off anonymous sources?
Probably for the best...
Anyway, whatever. It's nice to have a fan, even if I don't get a first name. However, I hope I don't read or hear about excerpts of my LiveJournal in USA Today or NPR in some kind of editorial about blogging.
I'll try this once more: Hi, I'm Maria, and you are....?
Time to go help Bill do his flora radiation accumulation study near the plant. It's basically gardening, but I'm helping because I have a green thumb, and he, having worked at nuclear power plant for about a year now, has a glowing green thumb.
