I have no idea why I am updating instead of writing my "Critical Analysis of the Readings" for my TV class. It was just too damn tempting and I promised myself I'd make it quick. Seriously, why do I never learn?

I bought tickets for myself and a few of my friends this morning for Dave Matthews Band because I just learned yesterday that apparently ( Read more... )

OH MY GOD THIS REVIEW! (I maybe got a little excited at the random Kalan picture...confused/excited, you know?)

There was also some chick in a cowboy hat (I think she must have gotten lost on her way to a Kalan Porter concert) who was blocking everyone's view with her huge hat, too.

BWAH! You're just lucky that she didn't throw you in the river.

"Home" and then one on the back of his right bicep that says "Life".

I didn't know he had those! They're really cool, though...I dig Homelife.

And his trio apparently consists of a strange looking cracked out middle-aged man who appears to be speaking to someone invisible while he plays the bass (he's mouthing the words to the song sometimes, but sometimes it is something completely different)

Oh my gosh! I need video of this! I snorted incredibly loud when I read that! can he marry Mister Sass?

(in which I called Danielle--we still have to talk about that because I got your text message but I'm interested to know if you could hear and everything! I figured it was pointless to ( ... )

Yeah I'm pretty sure the tattoos are new. I had a feeling you'd like them becuase I sort of remember you telling me that you liked Homelife. I thought it was pretty cool too. I can try to find a picture of them for you. I'll also show you a picture of the bass player the next time we talk. He pretty much looks like a bum. Perhaps he should marry Mister Sass. Then he can learn about haircare and, um, other stuff. I wish I had video to show you of him, and MP3 to share of Gold Digger. But alas I do not. I'll work on getting those too. Oh you couldn't tell what he was playing? See I was super close to the speaker so I didn't know if that would result in you being able to hear really well, or pretty much just hearing bass. I guess it was the latter. I tried moving the phone around so maybe it was when I held it up high that you could hear him. I'll remember that for next time. And I know, the Jeremy Fisher thing amused me more than it should have.

*LMAO* I'm really glad you had fun at the John Mayer concert. Good concerts are always very enlightening experiences.

(P.S. I'm not a John Mayer hater, just not a fan, I guess. I really do love the room for squares album a LOT, and then there are a few songs on heaver things that I dig. And then there are songs like daughters, but we won't get into that!)

I got a little confused by the pictures for a moment; "WHY IS DICKIE AT A JOHN MAYER CONCERT?!" And THEN I understood! I AM ENLIGHTENED!

Jeremy Fisher is TOTALLY poor man's John Mayer. Did you request any Jeremy Fisher songs at the show? That would have been brilliant. Um. Last week, we saw this guy named Jason Collet perform, and Heather decided that it was a better version of Jeremy Fisher with less inbreeding; Affi was offended and I laughed really, really hard.

But umm...in conclusion, I'm glad that John Mayer was a positive experience for you. (:

Thanks! Yeah he actually talks a lot about how he doesn't even really like Daughters anymore actually. haha I guess he's really changed musical direction and he all blues-y now.

I wish I had thought to request Jeremy Fisher. Then I could have said that I requested a John Mayer song at a Jeremy Fisher concert AND vice versa. Oh I know who Jason Collett is. I feel like I downloaded some of his songs sometime but I don't remember them.
