I know -- its been forever!
Well... I am ridiculously bored at work, so I thought I'd write an entry (since it has been months and months since I have)... so here ya go, an update on the life of Abbey:
Let's See....
1. School is over for the Spring Semester, so that is always a plus... BUT, I am taking a really intense summer class, so it doesn't really feel like I have a break, but eventually it will!
2. My birthday is coming up and I am SO EXCITED already! May through June are usually my favorite two months of the year because so many of us have birthdays, everyone comes home from school, we are all hanging out again.. and it just really feels like home. (Plus, I am always that much happier when I see Katie on a regular basis)
3. No guys right now... starting to get a little old, but its not too bad. I am enjoying being single, and having fun with all of my friends and everything, but every once in a while I miss the infamous people from my past. I have just come to accept the fact that it is a constant hurt that I don't think about or feel all the time -- but it is always there...ready and waiting for me to remember. I heard a quote on a movie this weekend, it said "it is those few happy times, those few magical days and moments, that can make love linger on and seemingly last for years." -- well believe me, this is SO true!
4. I'm moving home. Well... I have mixed feelings about this. I am glad to get away from the seemingly impossible roommate environment that has developed over the past year, but I will miss my freedom. I am very worried about living with my dad again, but I also know I have grown a great deal in the past year, and that I am a much stronger and happier person -- so hopefully I can keep our problems to a minimum and just deal. We'll see... I really believe it'll be fine!
5. I love life right now.. I really do.. things are 110% better than they were this time last year, and I am proud of myself for making the needed and positive changes in my life.... there is just one thing missing, but I know he's out there somewhere!
