She said that my hearing loss is not typical of Meniere's - didn't ask why I thought it was, didn't ask about the hearing problems I suffered from earlier in the year, when it was as if a generator was running all the time. Thank goodness it isn't Meniere's but its a pity there still isn't a specific diagnosis.

Bit like me and the "its-not-gall-bladder-stones-but-is-probably-IBS".
