Updating my image!!
Well, today I took the plunge, and had a slightly (note slightly) different hair cut. Those of you who know me, know that my hair is silver, and I wear it smooth and simple - I am 62 after all. Well, today I got my wonderful hairdresser to cut me a style that I can dry so it goes spiky. Not very spiky, but more modern and smart - I am thrilled, and am now looking for some colours to tip the spikes on a temporary, washout basis. I always fancied purple streaks, so maybe that will look good. And I wear a lot of blue - hmmm - choices, decisions!! Hey, a nearly new me!
And to go with the smart new hair, I bought a realy neat (in the English sense) summer jacket. It is cut like a blazer, with beautiful finishing - seams taped with bias and so on - and is made of a ticking weight striped denim. I feel really smart in it, and it will go with all the colours I wear, brown, black, olive, blues and lavender. And the best part? It was reduced from £40.00 to £7.00. So a good day for me!
