Went for Hwachong's Open House (Destination Hwachong!) today just for the fun of it h3h3h3 roamed around the campus quite aimlessly for a while before we were approached for a tour of the school. Watched performances by various CCAs and faculties also, and I signed up for Guitar auditions HAHA just for the fun of it but I think I'm going to join HCCO and play ruan (all part of the new experience for the new year~) yay ^^v I still find that after visiting all the CCA booths and despite getting tempted by many, my heart still lies with CO and chinese music, plus I have super nice seniors and will be in a fun section so I think I'll stick to CO yay :} Visited Nanyang after that and I felt super out of touch with the school like I didn't belong :/ Felt super weird to see juniors in brown nametags and the place that used to be so homely felt so stranger-ish all of a sudden..
Have been rethinking my subject combinations over the past few days; don't really know if I should stick with Music because it won't really provide me with a stable high paying job (which my mum hopes for) in the future. Maybe this does sound superficial, but although the pay isn't EVERYTHING, it is undeniably something important to consider, sigh. Though everyone has been telling me to take something I will enjoy; I will enjoy music, but whether I can do well is also another factor to consider. I felt super *in sync* with my exotic hybrid combination and being someone who trusts intuition and gut feeling a lot, maybe I should just stop thinking so much.... Double sigh I'm super vexed over this :(
I WANT MY ALMOND BISCOTTI/PINEAPPLE CRANBERRY TART/HAE BEE HIAM :(
and tomorrow I will stay at home and practice my guzheng and do maths after so much procrastination zomgah.
