Second opinion? mackenzie1017 November 26 2007, 19:02:44 UTC
At the risk that saying such a thing about such a sensitive subject might be taboo, but have you considered getting a second opinion? I mean, at this point, it might be too if the doctor was in fact correct, but stranger things have happened. I have a friend in Chicago whose doctor told her that her 10 week old fetus had died in-utero and that she was to do the same thing- wait to miscarry. They also did some tests and called her a few days later saying. . . oops!. . .we messed up! She had a beautiful and healthy baby boy about 10 months ago. I'm not saying this to give you false hope about something devastating or to give you hope only to have to grieve again, so please take this info/suggestion and do with it as you may. But it also is to say that sometimes doctors are wrong and it might not hurt to get a second opinion about something so important before you start taking the vitamin C.

I love you and hope we can make some time to get together to talk. Please also let me know if you need a morning to yourself- I'd love to hang out with Van to give you some coping time if you need it. Please let me know.
