So it's January. 2009 is upon us. I am not looking foward to the inaguration; there are estimated to be 3 million people visiting DC. That is more than three times the regular population of DC. I have no idea how this is going to work. It's going to be super CRAZY. 17th and 16th street are going to be closed. I work on 18th we basically have to camp out at eachothers houses to make it to work, because unless you are in walking distance it really isn't going to happen.

So my new years resolution has been going well. I didn't expect it to help me come up with a song but It did. I can't wait until I have a more polished version to post up here, but I think it's honestly the best one I've ever come up with. Most of the time my songs sound really 13th year old girl and I can only come up with the music and not the lyrics but I think this might be a package deal. My friend sketch also gave me  an old bass guitar of his and I'm hopefully going to get it restrung soon. I probably won't have much time to practice period, but especially until after the Mid Atlantic Barista Competetion is over. That is Feb 9th and it's in Pittsburg. I'll be traveling with Pearce, Rueben, and David Fritzler. I'm pretty excited to dork out.
