Bananas In Pajamas!

Hello, my darling internet people. It's hello-goodbye, like that song from The Sound of Music. Or was that from the Sound of Music? I must confess that I basically only remember the "hello-goodby" part, but it conjures up visions of blond children all dressed alike singing in a line, so I'm going to claim Sound of Music-ness. This is all by way ( Read more... )

The best part was me going "wow, you look *familiar* though." Oh, Portland, Portland! I don't remember what I was in The Relapse, but I wore a red polyester suit! My god, I'm sorry you had to sit through that. My father walked out during intermission and I was in a scene in the second act. I guess paternal love only cuts so deep.

So nice to meet you, omg! And thanks for the story links! And have a nice, zenlike period of beachness!

I could give you filk *cds* now, you realize. That is to say, if you wrote some Gerard/Patrick, I could. o.O

Dude, that part was genius. It was perfect!

The Relapse was a weird, weird play. I think I even stayed awake for all of it, because that was Pre-College, so I hadn't yet perfected the art of falling asleep while sitting upright in an auditorium seat.

Ohhh, man. Gerard/Patrick. It's like too much Awesome, it's like chocolate and peppermint, it's like, like, like something really really good mixed with something else excellent and adorable. I can't even handle it. My brain just shorts out.

It was absolutely wonderful to meet you! I'm so glad our wacked-out almost mutually-exclusive schedules managed to overlap, WE WIN HOORAY!

wasn't that the only scene we actually had lines in? Ah, the joy of highschool. Anyway, nice to 'see' you again. Random world.

Oh god, was it? Did we just walk onstage in the second act and stand there, staring at Matt Woodburn's foppish self? (See how much I retain? FRIGHTENING!) The Relapse was the worst thing that ever happened to Lincoln drama, hands down.

But wait, didn't I initially meet you as a nun in Sound of Music? Good god, random world indeed.

How fabulous to make (or remake) that connection! Also, ahahahh, I just finally read Black Powder War myself this weekend, on the planes to and from visiting my parents. It's a good vacation read, ain't it?

It was really really cool! I knew, just knew in my heart of hearts that it had to happen sometime, I had to have already known a slasher somewhere, I just...didn't know that it would be my sister instead of me. But we're almost like the same person, right?

You're right, Black Powder War is an excellent vacation read, because it's so...thick with detail, with setting, with history that you really want to be able to enjoy it uninterrupted. I also love how Amazon.com suggests things like "The Sentinel season 1" when you go to buy it. Why, hello fandom.

Uh, I don't think we're the same person. I am far more interesting and cool.
