When I last posted, only Max had hatched. Now there are four owlets: Max, Pattison, Austin and Wesley. Egg #5 should hatch by tomorrow. Carlos and Donna (the owners of the owl box) have become folk heroes among the Mollyholics community. Their son, Wesley, and their grandson, Austin, are also well known. The first egg is hatching today. The owlet will be named Max. When I started watching a few weeks ago, there were 30-90 viewers at any given time. Today there are 13,000. An article in the San Diego newspaper gives more info:
