The Incredible Subterranean Catholic Basilica (complete with Bat-Pope)

I need to compile a playlist solely of songs that have a month featured in them.... Hmmm. All I have so far is Little April Showers, June Gloom, July 4th 2004, September, and December 63. Oh well, I'll finish it later.

In other news, school is soon to be over. I don't have to show up for Spanish Art ever again, sans for a review and the final, which is nice. I'm no longer failing thanks to Mrs. Worth figuring out that students are just naturally stupider in America, as opposed to Spain. Which we all know is renown for the intelligence of its younger generation...

This girl in Western Survey asks a lot of stupid questions. Usually that leads to Mr. Markowitz going all the way back through the lecture to make sure she gets it. This has been going on all semester. Yesterday she asked the doozy of stupid art history questions. And for once Mr. Markowitz was so shocked by her confusion that he DIDN'T go back to the beginning of the lecture.

"Mr. Markowitz, this monument was going in the middle of St. Paul's Basilica?"
"Yes, right in the crossing."
"So it was underground?"
"...What?"
"Isn't St. Peter's underground?"
"......No."

Now she knows a lot about biblical history and theology, and she voted for McCain, according to one of her t-shirts, so she probably isn't as dumb as she seems and she IS a nice girl with opinions that I presumably agree with. It just baffles me how you can think this:

is underground.

In non-school related stuff, Katie and I have started a writing club. Which is nice. I came up with a new prompt the other day.

Pick an old photograph from this website ( http://www.squareamerica.com/l1.htm ) then write exactly 1,000 words about the people in the picture.

It should be about a million times easier for me then writing a story that was serious and depressing about a feuding family. In the end for that one, I just killed off the grandma and let all the characters go. But not for this prompt! I've picked this picture to elaborate on...

When I finish my next painting and getting registered for my classes next year I'll start writing it.

I'm off to procrastinate now.
